Hi everyone !

So, the boys are playing a brand new GREAT BIG SECRET SHOW in Halifax this Friday night.
( Aug.29th )

Has anyone found out if they have won tickets yet ? 

I haven't entered as I don't live anywhere near Hali, but I wish everyone who did enter good luck !

So,,,yippee ! for all of you living close to the venue, you will really enjoy yourselves, and you will appreciate the smaller venue where you get close up and personal with the band.

I was lucky enough to win tickets to one of the secret shows, and it was amazing, being 3 feet away from Alan was pretty cool.  I think everyone in the front row felt like the boys were just singing for them.  An awesome feeling !

I entered!!! 3 minutes after I got the email lol. I really want these tickets, my fiance is graduating in PEI on the 29th and we just go engaged this past weekend so it would make a perfect celebration. His parents won tickets to the show on the 30th but gave them to friends of theirs thinking that we wouldn't be able to attend, I was crushed LOL especially since they won VIP section with backstage passes!!!! :( Awww well, I'll just keep my fingers crossed that this works out in my favour!!!! :)

I don't know if Sharon is even able to get to this show but after all her begging and pleading for a show in Halifax....I'm sending up prayers and more prayers that she gets tickets to this show!!!

There were a couple local contests. Sharon said she won tickets yesterday through the newspaper. So she'll be there.

This city will be rockin on Friday, and GBS will be the best party in town. :D

Hey all!!

I have not heard a thing but I did enter!!  I have tried to win on the radio, ya right, that's easy.... NOT!!  I would LOVE to go!  I have been eagerly waiting for them to add a Halifax date to the tour.

I haven't given up hope yet :)

 

From everything I've heard about the other secret shows, it sounds like something special is going to happen in Halifax this Friday, back in a Maritime pub! I entered on the GBS website and also through Aliant - haven't heard anything back yet, but still with my fingers crossed!

For those who have already gotten tickets and whoever wins the ones GBS.com is giving away, enjoy the show!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed as well. I entered through the website, Aliant and the newspaper (no luck there) but haven't heard anything yet either. Do you think they'll let non-ticket winners into the show if we show up at the pub like they did with the other secret shows?

I entered as well and heard nothing. Despite the odds my fingers are still crossed. I've been a fan for over 10 years now and miss the smaller venue days. I always enter these contests though I'm not sure why. I never get picked LOL. Some good news and good luck sure would be nice I'm sure to everyone. Congrats to those who do win I can only begin to imagine what a wicked time will be had!
