Hi. I've lurked around this site for a couple of years now, just using the info here to find out concert dates, new releases and such, but not really joining in any OKP discussions. Having recently decided to try to overcome my natural anti-social tendencies, this summer I actually began to participate (talking to strangers - a major breakthrough for me!). I probably should have started by introducing myself here, but instead, I jumped right in to writing haiku. Anyway, I thought a more formal introduction was now in order. I'm Jennifer, I live in Oregon and I'm an ecologist by trade. I have a dog, cat and horse which I already introduced on the "our pets" thread. I prefer to spend most of my time in the woods or on horseback. Great Big Sea became part of my life's soundtrack about 10 or so years ago, and I look forward to seeing them in Portland again this October. I am also on Twitter as "jlss".
